amys theory The Salt Flip the coin, flick the switch you can do whatever you have to do. I will not be a part of it. Pollution in your brain, you wont think straight. All aboard a sinking ship and we sing like this. Call it biblical it’s all you need to take this ship down. The air between spun universe and moves without a sound. I cant sleep, I cant breath, I cant think how we got here. And I’ll meet you there, on a boat in the ocean I’ll meet you there. You’ll bring your armies and I’ll bring my friends and just for a moment we could pretend that everything is alright.
Andrew Keese and the Associates Desire "One of my loves in life is hearing a great band play for the very first time ... with hints of almost Chris Isaac and even Nick Cave in there it’s a sound that hasn’t been over-done in recent times like many indie-rock bands ... the incredibly original sound is obviously very carefully crafted by Andrew Keese and wonderfully executed by his band The Associates."

Borne Borne Home grown rock music is in one of its finest eras and Melbourne act Borne are only going to help it get stronger.
The five-piece have just released their debut, self-titled EP which showcases an engaging harmonious rock style performed by a super tight band.
The opener, Coma, is a spiraling rock epic and has a throwback feel almost reminiscent of classic rock metal.
Beautiful is clearly the pick of the EP’s five (and a bit) tracks and due to its Coldplay-esque vibe, it’s hardly surprising that the song has been picked up by NovaFM in Melbourne and Sydney.
Closing is the thought provoking drifter Sleep On It.

Residing somewhere in the twilight zone between the parallel universes of punk and glam, Melbourne's B.D.C. (Boy Dot Com) mix chunkified riffing, singalong choruses and an anti-establishment attitude to create awesome punkish speed-rock that pulsates with energy and melody. (REVERBERATION)
Category IV The Storm Signed to a recording contract with Spotlight-Records in 2005 Category IV hopes that everyone finds their brand of rock music appealing. Good rock music with melody and just a splash of metal. The music is new but the sound is classic.
Dion Jones & The Filth Velvet Fever “Dion Jones is a white man with the voice of Nina Simone and the passion of Roberta Flack. He sings with an effeminate grace that channels the energy of 70s soul, creating epic pop that brushes past lounge jazz, big band funk, and subtle rock as it rattles and soars towards a lithospheric level of distinction”. Erik Jenson, The Drum Media 17/5/05

Dylan Singh Leaving Glevum Behind "... his real boon will likely be his voice. Far sturdier than the coffeehouse standard, it brings his stuff a professional patina that could see it compete with a Train or James Blunt type." -(Editor's review, download.com, c|net)

King Mungi To Celebrate This Last Day “From the opening blast of Tsunami to the all out-anger of Johnny, To Celebrate This Last Day is aggressive, in-your-face and totally confronting. Finally, King Mungi sound like they’re onto something.” Rod Yates, Kerrang! Magazine Australia
The EP sits between heavy rock and metal. Fans of Full Scale and Sunk Loto will find King Mungi a great addition to their collections. Well Written, well recorded and pretty damn good. Go and get your hands on a copy now. Golly. Beat Magazine
Their musical ability shines through here with some surprises (odd time signatures, some great riffs). The production is also top notch. Actually it’s very hard to find something bad with this release. A top CD that will no doubt put the band on the top with some of the great Aussie acts. Adrenalinezine.net
Kirlian Aura Kirlian Aura Original progressive-rock instrumental compositions unsurpassed in terms of quality, execution, and content. It should be quantified primarily as an outlet to top-tier original music; material that constitutes a radical departure from the “music for the masses” ideology perpetuated via current songwriting, recording, and production trends and techniques. “Kirlian Aura” stands in stark contrast to the overwhelming majority of music-based content currently available via the internet, airwaves, and record store shelves.
